Practicing law is hard work.

Using the right tools makes it easier.

Your law firm’s IT service provider might do a great job setting up your core IT services, but you may be missing out on the best and latest software made specifically for practicing law. Edmonds Legal Solutions can help your firm find the right set of IT tools to make your workflow more efficient, secure, free of errors, and fruitful.

Adopting new technology should make things easier, not harder. We think the best tool is not the one with the most features, but rather the simplest option that does everything you need it to. We’ll help you find the right tools for your workflow, set them up for you, and provide training to make sure you’re comfortable using them. We measure our success by how few service calls you’ll need to place to us in the future.

About

Edmonds Legal Solutions is a sole proprietorship of Matthew A. Edmonds, a practicing lawyer in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Matt consults independently and also leads projects bringing together subcontractors, subject matter specialists, software vendors, and other IT service providers.

Matt Edmonds attended St. Francis Xavier University and studied law at Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law. His technical knowledge has been developed through a lifetime of self-directed study, a history of applying IT skills in community and extra-curricular involvement, and countless hours serving as his family’s unofficial IT support staff.

Matt’s expertise is in understanding what people need to get out of their use of technology, and teaching them how to use tech in the way that works for them. In a way, Matt is a translator and interpreter, speaking the languages of “lawyer” and “IT” with equal proficiency.
